Our first recommendation to anyone starting a business is to seek a few advisors. We have gained invaluable experience and advice by have advisors who knew the busines we were in. This article gives a few more pointers on how  and why to create an advisory board. Remember this is not the same as a Board of Directors, who have legal and fiduciary responsibility for your company. The advisory board is there to help you succeed.
