In his helpful newsletter item, Jason gives great tips on presenting your company and the new product. I particularly like his opening point: a great product can be demoed in 5 minutes, and that within the first minute of your pitch, you should be showing something. It supports the old adage that a picture is worth a 1000 words... if people can see what you are up to, you are ahead of the game.
