Here's a thought provoking article: is it time for Internet Startups to just go it on their own, and not engage with Venture Capitalists? The author makes an interesting argument that their may be too a high a price to pay for getting the startup money, and, perhaps with the way technology is moving, the money isn't actualy needed.
