Spartina.com is the inspiration and outcome of twenty-five years of dedication to the principle that entrepreneurs can turn their dreams into reality when they make a commitment to their venture.
On Spartina.com, David Hehman, who advises entrepreneurs based on his own start-up experiences, takes the best of what he has learned and offers it to the next generation of entrepreneurs.
One of the principles of David’s work is, ‘don’t reinvent the wheel.’ When good information and tools already exist, a smart entrepreneur takes advantage of that. When information or tools are not available, David builds or writes them himself. As a great philosopher once wrote, “we are dwarves standing on the shoulders of giants.” In short, by knowing what is already available, and using it to the best of our ability, we can build something even greater.
